Her academic background is a Doctor of Jurisprudence's degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica - Quito, Ecuador. Also, she got a Master's degree in Administrative Law from Universidad Particular de Loja - Loja, Ecuador.

Her professional experience has been mainly in immigration and corporate law, she has extensive work representing and advising some worldwide corporations and individuals as well; also, she was founder and partner of Cabrera Celi & Associates - Law Office in Quito, Ecuador and she held a position as an associated lawyer at Puente Associados. In addition, she held some executive positions in the legal department for public and private companies in Ecuador.

She moved to the United States in July 2021 and is currently a US citizen. Since December 2021 she has been working as a paralegal at Prada-Dominguez
